Fresh, cheap, hot breakfast with very big portions. Very small place with maybe 6-8 tables. We went twice during the week, both days had a short wait, however, we did have 5 people and again, the place is very small. The first day we had the tall blonde waitress, she was very nice. The second day we had Jeannie, the owner. While she was nice and did a fine job, she was very quick and running around and just didn't seem like a big smiler. Both days, I did feel like the service could have been more attentive, especially considering the small size of the place. Overall, we did return once and we'll continue to return when we're in the PCB area. The sausage was the best part. Homemade, fresh and very flavorful. I typically have a hard time finding a good sausage gravy. Theirs was very good as they use the same sausage in the gravy. I'm a huge fan of biscuits and gravy, so I substituted the sausage gravy instead of grits on the #1 which is a lot of food. Eggs were cooked properly, the biscuit was homemade, as was the sausage, and the hash browns were phenomenal!

Pros: food was great! I ordered a breakfast platter and my boyfriend ordered a burger and they were both really good. Typical diner fare, but cooked well and you get a ton of food for your money. Cons: we waited 30-45 min for our food, and service was a bit lackluster. The servers were friendly but somewhat inattentive, since we didn't get a drink refill until halfway through eating our meal. Overall, it would've gotten a higher rating if not for the service.

We decided to go here for breakfast based on the reviews we saw on Yelp and we are very happy we did. The food was very good and the service was even better. We had a group of 5 with us and we were seated immediately, even though this place was small. Larger groups showed up after us, but the staff did a great job getting them seated. It was nice to see right into the kitchen as the cooks like mom's cooking in their own kitchen. This place is literally hidden in the corner of a "strip mall" complex, so you have to pay attention or you will miss it. I recommended this place to another group that was with us and they went the next day and said that had we not told them it was in the corner, they wouldn't have found it. They loved it as much as we did.

Good food not great. Clean , nice people. Eggs was great. Sausage was tasty but over done hard even, coffee was average. French toast was to soft and tasteless & fake syrup not real maple. Fake butter spread too. Most great small places I've been like this at least use real butter and syrup.

While in PC for spring break, we bookended our week with this diner. I will never return to PC for the party, but I might for the fried catfish and muffins. All the sauces are home made. When you ask for a desert, jeannie offers to warm it up on the grill and put butter on it just like my mom.

Best Place EVER to eat while in PCB!!! Do NOT Pass this place up!! We ate here every morning of our stay....3 times for brunch!! Some of us had breakfast and some of us had lunch! Great choices on menu and Great Service with Awesome Foods!! :)

  • Laura B.

We went to this tiny little home in the wall to try and stay away from the big commercial restaurants lining the road up and down the beach. There were no cars in the parking lot and one loud drunk woman at the bar making a fool of herself. But our server was also our cook, he was smart and a go-getter and he hooked us up!!!! I got the burger and Spanish potatoes and my husband got The Manhattan which is a fabulous roast beef sandwich with aus jus. I am telling you, this has been the best meal of the week! Go here, give them your business. The burger was fantastic and our entire bill with 4 beers was less than $22. Great food, great conversation and hilarious sideshow from the drunk lady :)

  • Sherease L.

This place is a must try for breakfast although they do serve some lunch also!!! Everything is fresh and homemade! Bomb!!! My husband and I both enjoyed it. So much that we ate here two days in a row. The customer service is awesome and they take care of you here. They do close at 3pm so just keep that in mind if you want to stop by. We will certainly be back when we come back into town!

We slept in late and got up wanting a good breakfast. This is a nice little diner. Our waiter was very nice, but forgetful. You could tell he was ready to go home. They close at 3pm. All the food was delicious. I had biscuits instead of toast. They halved them and browned them on the gridle. Yummeh! I had scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon, sausage, hash browns, and coffee. All good.

Thanks Yelp! for helping us find a great place to have a big breakfast at the beach. Fair warning, the 2 pancakes that come with the $8 breakfast special are as big as a pie plate and as tall as you can get them. My son and I had scrambled eggs with cheese which were cooked to perfection. The biscuits are wonderful. Great cup of coffee. Bacon was crispy! All-in-all great food... noticed some smart old-timers like the place for its inexpensive a la carte pricing; the place IS hidden in a corner so you have to seek it out. I don't think they could seat more than 30 but we waited only a few minutes at 11am on a Monday. I got the sense that this is a family-run place and the food and service reflect that kind of care. We plan to go back and give the burgers a try. :)

Came in for breakfast and the food was very good. What most impressed me was the way this family owned business operates. The staff was exceptionally friendly. They worked so hard to make sure everyone was taken care of. Will definitely be back!

Had breakfast there. Consisted of biscuits gravy hash browns 3 eggs over easy sausage and bacon and is all tasted down home. Wonderful service great atmosphere they made you feel at home just like one of the locals. Would definitely recommend this for breakfast with anyone that was wondering that at home taste.

Not sure how this place gets 4.5 stars on yelp, I'd probably give it 3.5 if I could. To me this was just your run of the mill, hole in the wall breakfast spot with average fare. There is nothing special or unique about any of the items from what I saw. The orange juice isn't fresh squeezed and the day I visited, nearly every table was filled up which is a good sign, but I was the youngest in the restaurant by at least 20 yrs. I ordered the #1 special simply because it's a good deal, if you were to order all the items separately it'd be a lil more. The eggs and bacon were nothing special. The homemade biscuit and sausage were the real deal though. Sausage might have been the best item on the plate and you can tell it's fresh and locally sourced. I didn't eat the grits....not a grits person. I sampled my friends pancakes and they were thick, fluffy and good. These are not your mother's pancakes. They are more along the lines of the size Paul Bunyan would have eaten. Again, nothing is fancy or gourmet here, jelly and condiments are your traditional ones you see on any diner or 24hr restaurant table, prices are reasonable though. Service was very friendly too.

It took a good 45 mins from start to finish, but well worth it. The food was great and the staff was so kind. Will definitely be back!

We really liked this place. Friendly fast service, very good food and good prices. Dirty eggs and cheese grits were my faves.

  • April E.

Just like breakfast at Grandma's house. Nothing fancy, just homemade. I'm not a big fan of frozen foods, so the hand patted and locally sourced sausage patties were awesome!!!! Eggs were freshly cracked and certainly not powdered. Homemade biscuits and gravy were the bomb! Food was excellent and well worth the wait. This little diner was very clean and the staff was friendly. We will be back!!

Omg!!!! What great reasonable prices for the fantastic food!!!!!!! Greeted from walk in and service was outstanding!!!!!!

  • Linda M.

We found Jeannie's One Stop Diner with the help of Yelp....and we were not disappointed!! It's a super cute family run diner with a total of 9 tables! When you walk in you immediately feel welcome. As for the food...we haven't had omelette this good at any of the big chain breakfast places! The hash browns were fresh cut, not any of that frozen stuff. The coffee was perfectly brewed and served in a nice big cup. Friendly staff and great food. Don't pass it up!

  • Kay T.

Really mad I didn't take any pictures because this place was awesome they must stop every time I'm in Panama City Beach I highly recommend the homemade corn beef hash

Best small diner we have been to! The food is sooo good you want to try it all! Mouth watering cheeseburgers for sure The staff make you feel at home - this is always on our list of places to go when in PCB

I love mom and pop places like this. Food was great. I will go back when I'm on vacation. The place was packed which was a good indication of good food.

  • Kara F.

We found the one stop diner on yelp. Great little local place. We went there for breakfast. Very good, great service, reasonably priced. We'll definitely go back again.

    (5)
  • Leo B.

From the outside, you'd almost miss it. Located in a non-descript strip mall there's not much to look at on the outside. The inside is decorated in "functional diner". The food though is excellent! We went multiple times during our vacation for breakfast and every item we had was great. The hash is particularly good, and the biscuits are great with gravy or as a breakfast sandwich. Food came out quickly and freshly prepared. There may be a wait at the most popular times, but it's worth it!

    (5)
  • Latisha W.

Great food. Great service. The place is clean and small on the inside. I suggest getting there early or call your order in and take it to go. The coffee as even good. I will post pics.

Went for breakfast! Fast, clean, friendly and great value! I had the French toast breakfast special , my husband had the philly omelette that had a whole bunch of meat in it! Staff was very friendly and attentive!!!

  • David D.

Always trust where the locals eat. Great little diner with quick service and friendly people. I had eggs, grits and toast, my wife had biscuits and gravy and my son had 2 pancakes the size of the plate. Really reasonably priced for PCB. I will eat here every time I come to town.

    (5)
  • Lauren C.

Waitress was very sweet. My daughter spilled an entire bottle of syrup and she didn't even bat an eye. They made my son a pancake in the shape of Mickey Mouse. Kids were super happy. I got the stuffed French toast it wasn't that great but every one else was very pleased. And it was very affordable and walking distance from our hotel. I would be open to trying it again. And trying something else.

Had breakfast there twice when I was here. Good food very nice employees. Planning to go back when I get back here

  • Byron B.

People running this joint seemed nice enough, but the food was worse than Waffle House. My eggs were meant to be over easy but came out hard; server did not ask my girlfriend how she wanted her eggs and gave her sunny side up as a default, which she doesn't like. I've had better pancakes at home, and seriously doubt if the French toast was dipped in egg. More like normal toast with powdered sugar and store bought syrup. The breakfast sausage was quite good and earns an extra star, but I could only eat one because the second was not cooked through. I'm perplexed by the great reviews, maybe ignorance is bliss?

Has free and fast download Wi-Fi service + excellent breakfast. Try not to over order or take a teen (lean eating machines) with you! The smaller size orders (1 egg, 2 pieces or bacon or sausage) is enough for my 50+ stomach. That comes with toast or biscuit and grits. All the $7.00+ orders are jumbo size. The coffee cup size is large; not teacup size like you get at most places. They keep asking if you want refills. I respect that they not did try to rush us even when folks were waiting. However, we noticed the line and did not stay long after there was a wait list. We still had lots of time to check Email, download a book and update our podcasts.

  • Michelle S.

We love this place! Best hamburger I've had in forever!! They have an actual hand patted patties for their burgers, my burger was cooked to perfection, service was amazing and BONUS- they had 80's music playing!!!

    (5)
  • Kelly C.

Fairly small seating area, but great food and good service. The kids were given coloring books. They even cooked the kids pancakes to look like Mickey Mouse:) The bathrooms were clean (no changing table). Each table seats 2-4, so large families may have to split. Overall a good experience for breakfast and dinner!

  • Jess P.

Not Chinese food so I have no idea why it's listed under that category... Country fried steak sandwich was delish. Didn't even need any sauce. Corn fritters tasted seriously unhealthy, but good. :) Waitress was very attentive and friendly. Music was country. I had no idea that Panama City was more Southern than Atlanta. I assumed that all of Florida was like the north! Anyway, check out this gem if you're in the area! Small, simple menu, but good comfort food!

  • Mike G.

Created a Yelp account because of this place. Best breakfast I've had in my life. Literally, ranked. Staff is incredibly friendly. The cook came out of the kitchen to talk to our table and offer a few things that were off the menu. Delicious and well priced. Oh and for all you Spring Breakers, perfect hangover cure.

    (5)
  • Ray Ray K.

This place was a great find on the strip in PCB. Thanks Yelp! The homefry hash was delicious and cured my hangover. My friend got the 3 egg sampler combo and looked great. Not a large place but was worth the 20 min wait. The staff was very nice too. I would come back for sure! Great overall menu.

  • Danielle C.

There were four of us for breakfast. Yes, there was a short wait. The staff was busy, but pleasant and the food was great. We each had something different, but everyone agreed that the food was great and the price was good. A good place to try if you gave the time to wait if they are busy. We will go back and see how lunch goes.

  • Sheila L.

Great place for breakfast. We got the breakfast special number 2. The pancakes were huge!

    (5)
  • Charles O.

Pretty cool place, there was a wait, but it wasn't long and the food was good. I had the Spanish omelette and it was good, the others had one of the big breakfast plates, and they all said the French toast was real good.

    (4)
  • Mandy T.

I wish I could transplant this breakfast joint to my hometown. I would be there every morning. Good food, good service. Between the four of us there wasn't a single drop of food left on our plates at the end of the meal. We had to wait a bit for a table because it's a pretty small place, but it was worth it.

    (5)
  • Wendy H.

Jeannie's had the best hamburger I have had in a long time. They are not formed burgers but made completely by hand. They come with a great serving of French fries. The breakfasts are great. In fact we ate there every day we were there and would do it again in a heartbeat.

    (5)
  • T C.

What a GREAT place to eat!!! My son eats there every Friday for catfish special which the special changes daily...but everything Jeannie cooks is delicious ! If you want good portions, yummy food, and super service, this is the place to visit. Tell them Cooter sent you :)

We went on a Sunday morning and made it in right before the crowd. The food was decent, it tasted like something I could make at home (which isn't saying much). The coffee was burnt but bearable. The service was excellent.

Nice little hidden gem. Great biscuits, and I had a wonderful Cuban sandwich. Yum! This will definitely become one of my "must stops" in PCB.

    (5)
  • Eric B.

Great service, really good food, and sweet tea. Highly recommended. Only open for breakfast and lunch and only good option in the vicinity. Breakfast is really good, big portions and the burgers are the best in PCB. Service here is the key ingredient.

This is a small hole in the wall spot in Panama City Beach that I will definitely be revisiting when I come back to Florida. It has a nice homey feel to it, and the entire staff was extremely nice to our party of 6 and loud baby..... I got a burger because of the hype I heard about it and it was really good. The breakfast is apparently what their known for, but their lunch's were amazing. Prices were more than fair too. Overall great spot to hit up for laid back good meal. Only reason I didn't give a 5 star is because I didn't have any appetizers, so I can't say if those are good or bad.

  • Nathan M.

While on vacation my in laws found this place and they fell in love. We decided we had to try it out. Great food and I would tell everyone to try it out!

I liked their biscuits and gravy and their bacon. They have a unique way of preparing their food, and that's what sets them apart.

I got the yelp app just so I could rate this place. Incredibly delicious, cheap and I was treated like family.

  • angela b.

Great place! Owner is very motherly and takes great care to make sure you like the food. Hubby had the cheeseburger with fries and he said it was very good-- a fresh patty rather than frozen. I had veggie omelet with cheese grits and raisin toast. Even the coffee was good, and I'm a Starbucks addict. We are fairly discerning diners and we really liked this place. We walked a mile to get here so we were glad we weren't disappointed!

Cheap and tasty. The pancakes are huge! Has a small time diner feel in the middle of a busy area.

Awesome home cooked, big breakfasts! Kids got crayons, coloring books and Mickey Mouse pancakes. Hubs got a breakfast burrito with hash browns and grits, while I had a massive Philly skillet (eggs, Philly steak, hash browns, peppers, onions, mushrooms scrambled and smothered in cheese) with an English muffin and grits. Both were huge and delicious. Service was great too!

Great diner food and great customer service!

  • Fortenise M.

Ate there two days straight because (1) it's walking distance from our resort, (2) the food is good! Only thing wrong but I may be off but the service was just ok. Little help there and only got a refill after asking :( but good food!

  • Michelle C.

I enjoyed it but my hubby loved it more than me. He had french toast breakfasts both days and enjoyed it. I had the regular breakfast (meats, eggs, toast, grits). The next day I tried the french toast breakfast upon his recommendation and it was good but nothing to write home about. The biscuits were interesting, baked and then pan fried. I actually really liked it. Grits were thicker on day two, which I like. The owner and servers were AWESOME! Helpful and provided the baby with a coloring book! I think the service makes the place. The food is consistent. The sausages are hand made and delicious. We had to wait on day two. It is a popular place with about 10 tables. Worth the wait. It wasn't too bad. Would return!

  • Matt F.

Went here for breakfast. This is a small mom and pop type restaurant with good food and excellent service. The pancakes I had were very large and very tasty. The side items of eggs and bacon were standard, but still good. The staff were very kind and helpful. I would definitely go back again.

    (5)
  • Erin C.

Loved everything about this place! An awesome big breakfast for $7, good pancakes. The chicken and dumplings & the hashbrowns were the best ever. Highly recommended!

Cute little diner with about 10 tables. Food was delicious and the service was great. Will return before heading back home next week.

    (4)
  • Michael F.

Typical PCB mom&pop shop. Staples were decent (eggs, bacon, grits), however the coffee I imbibed tasted of soapy dishwater and rusty pipes - I'll write it off to a bad batch. Anything beyond the simple items is plain and not anything to write home about. Also, constants 70s music during breakfast just seems weird (to me)

If your looking for home cooking this place is as good as it gets breakfast all day if you get there after 8:45 you may have to wait but not long and its worth it wouldnt have breakfast anywhere else my husband and I ate there most every morning and nearly every night too they have lunch specials and dinner specials written on a board plus new items not on the menu written on the board if this is your first time there your check is kept at the reg. just in case your waiting on it at your table very very friendly staff you will want for nothing oh and yell for your team to the cook hes an auburn fan so of course we are for ROLL TIDE and there was some good teasing back and forth miss you guys ,ms,Jeannie,Sarah ,and even that auburn cook Joe cant wait till we come back for some good food ....
